Hearing Loops

When one person in your household is hearing impaired, it often affects the rest of the family. Even when they wear hearing aids, the television volume is cranked right up, making the lounge the least popular room in the house.

A hearing loop induces the sound of your TV or audio system directly into the T coil hearing aids, where the volume can be adjusted. That way, the whole family can watch a show together without being blasted by high volumes.

The Vision team install sofa or room loops to cover either your chair or sofa, or the whole lounge. We install Univox systems which consist of a copper foil and an amplifier. You won't see the foil once it has been installed, and we connect the amplifier to your TV or audio system. Then there's nothing left to do except turn your hearing aids to the T position.

This system really makes all the difference at home, and starting at under $700, it's affordable, too. Get in touch to discuss your options with the Vision team.
